It was sad to hunt a beach that only had about 20 people there today. It was cool, cloudy and rained a little so not many at the beach. I will have a little time to detect a beach that will not be replenished until next summer. From the hunt today still a lot there. Key chain, flower pin, lens cap, peace symbol bracelet and a small electro plated ring. It was soaking and the gold came off on my finger. Still a good hunt plan to go out again tomorrow....Z

No beaches were open around here the entire summer= some kind of a thing bout lifeguards, only thing open was a few pools, and not many of them, seems like hunting for places is getting to be kinda rough around here, BUT=I WILL NOT GIVE UP=:158:

Well wanted to go out today and hunt but it is only going to high of 60 degrees. It is raining pretty hard and going to get around 2" today. We need the rain everything brown.  If the rain slows up am thinking of going out. If not will tumble dirty coins.

All the coins where new drops.  All but two coins that were spendable. Bill I do sand detecting it is real easy and good exercise walking in the sand. Lost about 20 pounds since starting detecting again. I did get a pair of 15" boots to do some wading but the waves have been pretty big so haven't used them yet. Lake Michigan is a cold lake even in summer. Bill even with the gold beckoning me from the lake I still don't know if I want to be out there in that cold water.

MarkinIa yes lots of stuff still out there and looking forward to picking up at least 300 more coins before winter. I now have 2164 coins goal is 2500 this year.

Hay Boog when the coins aren't being replenished it kind of sucks. I just put my 3rd set of batteries in the Wader. I would go to that race track of yours.

Thanks for replies...Z

Bardok, pretty much like all hunts but must admit some hunts are much better than others.

A hunt with 10 or more coins is a good hunt.

Thanks Bardok....Z

Hey that's a guid hunt zeekeys, :049:

Do I hear ya complainin' about 20 people on the beach? :21:

Man that's a crowd on some of our beaches. :175:

We look forward to high winds stripping the beaches down in the winter,

to give us a lower level to detect.  :158:

Congrats on the nice hunt! Looks like you were digging a bunch of signals. I hope you get to hunt a bit more before winter sets in up there, Beale.
