From the land of the Bluenose.....up bright and early and not at all like the sun as it was raining then stopped and rained some more. So after Tim's with Marie then dropping here off at work I headed towards the airport....not for work but to go a swishing and a digging. First stop was a once a year place that I ended up in the drink which produced a few coins but nothing special. Had the 3/4 wet suit on this time as this water spot is infested with leeches. Know the owner of the campground and he appreciates the junk that I take out of the swimming area.
From there it was off to a soccer field that I do also only once a year and always gives up a few goodies like this 1876 Vickie
as well as a nice soccer pendent and a few looniess and twoonies.
One more stop along the way for a little dip that without a doubt is getting chillier everyday. Here a nice little silver toe ring found it's way into my sieve.
Got to Marie's work just as she was walking out the door and that led to a trip to the grocery store where we brought...........everything! Lord love a duck it's expensive to eat.
Take for the day was a 1876 large cent, 2 kid's rings, soccer pendent, fun zone token, Nova Scotia safety pin, and 89 coins @16.69
