Hi all last week was great I got out at least an hour everyday
same as usual a mountian of clad and pull tabs(Im not going to post clad anymore as you are probably sick of seeing it Just a weekly coin count from now on)
found a nasty 57 rosie (swished him around in some tarnex and he looks pretty good)
3 wheaties,a mexican rose earing marked TE-H3 or TE-43 cant really make it out,a phone that I cant seem to find the owner of, and some junk jewelery, and several tokens
I just could never figure out why all I find is clad and never deeper than 4 or 5 inches
well I finally got my hands on a 1964 road map and all the places I hunt were swamp back then Ive located older parks and am looking for even older maps hopefully next week I will have some oldies to post
clad count
halves:1
quarters;78
dimes:99
nickels:40
pennies:192
total;410 coins

| Nice finds, Hillbilly. I was wondering the same thing about one of our old parks. Nothing was very old or very deep. It turns out that for the last thirty years in the springtime they spread processed waste sludge as fertilizer over all the grassy areas. Could be the same thing in your neck of the woods. HH!

Hi hillbilly,
Hey that's great you got out everyday.
That clad count is very respectable
an' I did like the look of that 57 Rosie.
The wee rose earring looks real cute as well.
I'd say you had a good week there.
