You look like just the kind of guy I'd like to hunt with but you're a little too far away for me.:178:

I'll go hunting with ya but only if you use a pie plate tied on a stick so I have a chance.  These other fellas never seen you in action before.  You can't put the pace-maker in turbo mode either. You also have to promise to stop and dig your coins, no snatching them out of the ground on the go like you usually do.  These guys don't know you like Big Red and I do.  I'll bet none of them have ever seen the "Hoosier Tornado Sweep" you use.  My advice for anyone that wants to go hunting with you is don't pass up the chance, just give ole Bugar plenty of room and stay back!  Wear long sleeves and pants, they help protect you from the sticks and rocks that he throws up swinging the coil.  Pay no attention to the helicoper-like sound you will hear, that just means that Bugar's sweep speed is approaching hunt velocity.  Don't feel bad when you are done hunting and he has more coins than you do.LOL  One last thing, a dust mask and safety goggles are not manditory but may be a good idea if the hunt site is not large.

Terri, me and ole Bugar got the fever in January a few years ago to to detecting.  We'd had a warm spell and the temp was almost back up to freezing.  Bugar met me at a local park and we were going to go detecting at the ball diamond.  I found the first coin, a penny right on top of the ground.  Found out I had to chisel it off the frozen dirt.  While Bugar was still getting his equipment out of his vehicle I found a dime or copper penny about an inch deep.  Tried to stick my trowel in the dirt and couldn't even get the point of it to go in the ground.  Bugar says no problem, I got a pick in the car, we'll just hunt coins in the gravel parking lot.  While Bugar went to the van to get his pick I found a coin a few inches deep in the gravel.  Ole Bugar says "Stand back and I'll get your coin out in a jiffy".  He wailed away with that pick and after a minute of hard swinging he'd only got down about 2inches in the gravel.  It didn't take us long to decide that what we really want to do was go eat lunch and talk about detecting.  Next time we decide to go hunting in frozen ground, we are going to take a jackhammer!LOL

Terri ...just to let you know ive hunted with Bugar and Phil, and they both are great guys and very good detectorist! I will say this I remember a hunt in which Bugar presented Phil with a pair of safety glasses and dusk mask before the hunt started. Man oh Man did Phil ever need it, Bugar fired up the fisher and started hunting. Moving with lightening speed and propelling the coinstrike into his trademark signature tornado swing. I was several hundred feet away...watching this unfold. Debris started to fly as the tornado swing picked up speed. The wind was blowing as dust flew, tree branches was blowing across the field. Poor ole phil was getting pelted with debris as he was only 25 feet away from Bugar. The the craziest thing I ever saw happened...My buddy Bugar kicked it into high gear moving at an unbelievable speed, as he was using his tornado swing he had the lesche digger out and was pulling coins from the ground....I never had seen so many silver coins flying threw the air and being pulled into the vortex of the tornado which in all reality was Bugars coin pouch! It was a unbelievable site to see! Phil will confirm this story, and remember this is a typical hunt with My Friend Bugar.......So look out when he gets to swinging the detector!

WHO DO I SEE TO FILE A PROTEST ????

I am being falsly acused of causing dirt/dust/rubble storms= this is untrue, granted i do detect with a little more vigor and enthusiasim than Big Red and Phil,  this is unfair- Phil is a talking machine in bib overalls- but he does do a dandy job of beeping, and then we have BIG RED,  well he is just another ballgame, just one HUGE  detecting redheaded coindigger, he is handy to have around, cause folks kinda shy away when they see this fella a beepin, let's face it=BIG  RED=>:049:nobody will bother you when he's about :)
